Hanna Steckler posted a game-high 11 kills, while
Carlee Allbaugh notched her fourth-consecutive double-double, as the Lees-McRae women's volleyball team claimed a straight-set victory over visiting Erskine in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.
THE BASICS
FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. Erskine, 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-17)

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (8-4/5-3), Erskine (3-6/3-5)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Caitlyn Smirne chipped in nine kills and nine digs, while Allbaugh finished with 26 assists and 13 digs.
- Kaden Hill tallied five kills, a solo block and two block assists.
- Lauren Xayavong added 10 digs.
- Lees-McRae used timely runs in the first set and a final attack error by the Flying Fleet to claim a 25-20 win in set one.
- The Bobcats scored 16 of the first 24 points of the second stanza to take control in the set and used the momentum to clinch a 25-20 win in set two.
- After Erskine took an early lead in the final set, Lees-McRae responded with a 5-0 run to reclaim the lead and never relinquished the advantage en route to winning the third set, 25-17.
- The Bobcats held an 11-3 advantage in service aces and an 8-4 edge in blocks, while posting a game-high 34 kills.
FOR THE FOES:
- Reilly Bartlett and Jauhna Smith finished with eight and seven kills to lead the Flying Fleet.
- Lainie Loving and Megan Thees chipped in 14 assists and 13 digs each.

The Bobcats will close out the Conference Carolinas weekend as they host Emmanuel tomorrow at 12 p.m.
