BANNER ELK, N.C. – The Lees-McRae women's tennis team claimed two doubles matches and swept all six of the singles matches en route to claiming a 7-0 victory over visiting Southern Wesleyan in the regular-season finale.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Zeynep Cakirer and Mei Hiramatsu posted a 6-2 in the #2 doubles position, while Tessa Wells and Laura Ocampo teamed up to win the #3 doubles by a 6-4 score.
- Sandy Allen won a thrilling three-set match by a 6-4, 0-6, 7-5 score, after trailing 5-1 in the final set.
- Cakirer and Nursharneem Shamsuddin won both the #2 singles (6-0, 6-4) and the #3 singles (1-6, 6-4, 6-3) respectively.
- Hiramatsu posted a 6-4, 6-3 win in the #4 singles match, while Ocampo won the #5 singles match (6-2, 4-6, 6-3).
- Wells claimed a victory in the #6 singles match by a 6-4, 6-2 score.
