Hailey Gilreath, and 
Kaden Hill combined for 23 kills, while 
Carlee Allbaugh tallied her seventh double-double of the season, but it was not enough as Emmanuel clinched a three-set victory over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas match this evening.  
 
THE BASICS
FINAL SCORE: Emmanuel def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 26-24)
LOCATION: Shaw Athletic Center – Royston, Ga.
RECORDS: Emmanuel (3-7/1-1), Lees-McRae (3-6/1-1)
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- Moreno and Gilreath each tallied a team-high eight kills, while Allbaugh chipped in 30 assists and 14 digs.
 
	- Hill added seven kills and two block assists, while Madison Goins and Lauren Xayavong finished with 14 and 11 digs respectively.
 
	- Olivia Ney tallied five kills, a team-best .313 hitting percentage, and a season-high 10 digs.
 
	- Both Emmanuel and Lees-McRae had sizeable runs in the first set, with the Lions closing on a 7-1 run to clinch the first set, 25-19.
 
	- The teams matched each other point-for-point again in the second frame, leaving the score at 23-23 on an attacking error by Emmanuel, but a final attacking error by the Bobcats proved to be the difference in a 25-23 win for the Lions.
 
	- Lees-McRae rallied in the third set and used a kill from Hill and a solo block by Ney to give the Bobcats a 24-20 lead.
 
	- Emmanuel scored the next six points to clinch the conference victory.
 
	- The Lions held a 43-34 edge in kills and an 8-5 advantage in blocks, while the Bobcats held a slim 7-6 edge in aces.
 
 
FOR THE FOES:
	- Aleksandra Hamuda and Jocelyn Martin finished with 14 and 12 kills respectively to lead the Lions.
 
	- Gabrielle McGlamery added 35 assists and 14 digs.

The Bobcats will close out the Conference Carolinas weekend as they visit Erskine tomorrow for a 2 p.m. match.
