Natasha Colon Moreno and
Hailey Gilreath combined for 23 kills, while
Carlee Allbaugh posted a team-high 28 digs to go along with 28 assists, but it was not enough as Erskine escaped with a four-set victory over the visiting Bobcats to close out the Conference Carolinas weekend.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Moreno finished with a team-high 13 kills to go along with nine digs, while Gilreath chipped in 10 kills.
- Lauren Xayavong and Kaden Hill added 19 digs and six kills, along with a team-high three block assists, respectively.
- Erskine and Lees-McRae matched each other point-for-point in the opening set, with the Flying Fleet clinching a 27-25 win off a final kill.
- The Flying Fleet used a 14-5 run early in the second frame to grab momentum and closed on a 5-2 run to earn the 25-17 win in set two.
- Lees-McRae returned the favor with a 7-2 run in the third set to take a 17-10 lead and used a pair of bad sets by Erskine and a final kill by Gilreath to claim a 25-22 win in set three.
- Erskine closed the match on a 5-1 run to clinch the conference win.
FOR THE FOES:
- Katy Torgerson finished with a game-high 18 kills to pace the Flying Fleet.
- Mallory Carter chipped in 39 assists and 23 digs.
