BANNER ELK, N.C. – Concord scored a pair of first-half goals and added a late insurance marker to claim a 3-0 victory over the host Bobcats in the non-conference contest on Tate Field this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Concord started fast with three shots and a pair of corners in the first and were able to break the deadlock with a goal in the 26th minute.
- Lees-McRae nearly even the score on a pair of shots by Gwen O'Brien in the final seven minutes, but the Mountain Lions scored in the 43rd minute to extend the lead to 2-0 at halftime.
- Concord outshot the Bobcats 7-6 in the second half and added a late insurance marker in the 84th minute to close out the game's scoring.
- Mallory Roughton finished with four saves in net for the Bobcats.
- The Mountain Lions held a 21-12 shots advantage, including an 8-6 edge in shots-on-goal.
FOR THE FOES:
- Yasmin Mosby scored twice to lead Concord, while Leah Foster scored the other Mountain Lion goal.
- Leah Marsh finished with six saves in goal.
