HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's and women's cycling took home top podium finishes over the weekend with
Ian McDonald earning first place in Sunday's Cyclocross race and
Gabby Vides-Barry collecting two first place finishes in the CX Collegiate Women's C race on both days.

RACE: SECCC/ACCC Dual Conference Championship
LOCATION: Hendersonville, North Carolina
SATURDAY'S NOTABLES:
- Lina Dorscht started the notable weekend for the Bobcats with third place in the CX Women's A race with Maria Döring following in fifth place. Riley Gallagher rounded out Lees-McRae in the top-ten with 10th place.
- In the CX Men's A race, McDonald captured fifth place for the Bobcats and Pete Swinand crossed the finish line in 12th.
- Jackson McLean registered second in the CX Collegiate Men's B race and Vides-Barry started her weekend off with her first victory in the Women's C race.
SUNDAY'S NOTABLES:
- McDonald captured the individual victory on Sunday afternoon as the Oak Hill, West Virginia native emerged victorious after Saturday's fifth-place finish.
- In the CX Women's A race, Dorscht placed third once again and Döring recorded seventh in Sunday's event.
- McLean jumped one spot in this afternoon's Men's B race with first place and Vides-Barry grabbed back-to-back victories on the course in Hendersonville with the win today.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae will now head to Hartford, Connecticut to compete in the USA Cycling CX Nationals scheduled for Dec. 8 and 9.
