TIGERVILLE, S.C. – North Greenville knocked down 14 threes in their 72-46 victory over Lees-McRae women's basketball on Wednesday night inside Hayes Gymnasium.
Aurora Roberts registered her third game in a row with double-digit scoring as the senior had 13 points for the Bobcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Arriana Lizarraga cut the Bobcat deficit down to one point after made three-pointer, but North Greenville closed the opening quarter on a 15-0 and led 25-9 after 10 minutes of play.
- McKenna Kersat opened the second quarter with a made basket and the Bobcats closed within 10 points after a layup via Roberts. North Greenville took the 41-24 advantage into the halftime break after a three by Abi Oates late in the quarter.
- North Greenville added to its halftime break with a 10-0 run in a little over three minutes to start the third as the Crusaders held the 51-24 margin. Lees-McRae went on a 5-0 capped a Kersat jumper as the Bobcats trailed 60-38 after 30 minutes of play.
- The Crusaders added one more three to their game totals as NGU secured the 72-46 victory on Wednesday night inside Hayes Gymnasium.
- Roberts paced the Bobcats with her third consecutive game in double-digit scoring with 13 points on 5-7 shooting from the field. Roberts has scored in double-figures in five games for Lees-McRae on the season.
- Kersat was an efficient 4-6 from the floor as she collected eight points in 10 minutes of action as Thailand Smith and Dianna Spence followed with six points apiece for the Bobcats. Smith added a team-high eight rebounds off the bench for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE CRUSADERS:
- Jayda Glass led North Greenville in the scoring column with 24 points on 8-12 shooting and 6-9 from three-point range. Abi Oates recorded all of her 18 points from beyond-the-arc for the Crusaders to go along with three steals and two rebounds.
- North Greenville went 14-32 from three on the night and shot 45.5% (25-55) from the floor in Conference Carolinas play.

Lees-McRae women's basketball returns to the friendly confines of the McNair & Debi Tornow Court on Saturday, Dec. 17 when the Bobcats play UNC Pembroke in league action. The Bobcats will close out their December slate of games when they host Mars Hill on Sunday, Dec. 18.
