Michael Marsans finished with a match-high 20 kills and a .389 hitting percentage, while
Max Kuntz and
Bradley Peters chipped in eight kills and a match-high 33 assists respectively, to lead the Lees-McRae men's volleyball team to a three-set win over Erskine to clinch the team's first Conference Carolinas victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Marsans paced the Bobcats in kills to go along with a service ace and six digs.
- Kuntz also finished with five digs, while Peters added three kills and six digs.
- M.J. Doyle added six kills and three digs, while Steven Nalls tallied three digs and four assists.
- Lees-McRae sprinted out of the gates by scoring eight of the first nine points and maintained a sizeable lead over the remainder of the first set.
- Marsans tallied three late kills to give the Bobcats a 25-17 win in set one.
- Both teams traded runs in the opening minutes of the second set until a run by the Flying Fleet trimmed the deficit to 22-20.
- Three late errors by Erskine gave Lees-McRae a 25-21 win in the second frame.
- The Bobcats overcame an early run by the Flying Fleet and used back-to-back kills by Nicholas Brewster and Kuntz to hold an 18-12 lead in the third set.
- Erskine responded by evening the score at 24-24.
- A service error by the Flying Fleet and a final kill by Doyle clinched the sweep for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae held a 42-29 advantage in kills and finished with all five of the match's service aces.
FOR THE FOES:
- Edgerrin Austin and Jason Sall finished with 14 and 10 kills respectively to pace the Flying Fleet.
