WISE, Va. – UVA Wise scored 13 unanswered goals and held the visiting Bobcats to only three shots-on-goal en route to claiming a 17-1 win in the non-conference contest this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Kalbie Grassett scored the lone Bobcat goal, off an assist by Genesis Lutsky, to go along with a game-high four ground balls.
- Mckenzie Mellen added three ground balls and two caused turnovers.
- UVA Wise tallied four goals in the first 12 minutes of action, until the Bobcats used a draw control win by Haley Donovan which led to Grassett's fifth goal of the season off the assist by Lutsky.
- The Cavaliers held the visiting Bobcats scoreless for the final 45 minutes, while scoring 13 goals, to clinch the non-conference win.
- Emily Davidson and Mellen combined for six saves in net for Lees-McRae.
- UVA Wise held a 31-5 edge in shots and finished with a 23-16 edge in ground balls.
FOR THE FOES:
- Caroline Earshaw finished with five goals and an assist to pace the Cavaliers, while Ellie Earnshaw chipped in three goals and two assists.
