HARROGATE, Tenn. –
Haley Donovan and
Kelsi Williams both scored their first goals of the season, but it was not enough as host Lincoln Memorial held a 40-10 advantage in shots-on-goal en route to clinching the 17-2 win over the visiting Bobcats in the non-conference contest this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Donovan also added three draw controls and three ground balls, while Williams added a caused turnover.
- Emily Davidson chipped in a game-high four ground balls.
- Lincoln Memorial opened the scoring just 39 seconds into the contest and held a 5-0 lead at the first intermission.
- After the Railsplitters extended the lead to 10-0 with 9:48 left in the first half, Donovan notched her first goal of the season on a rebound off an initial shot by Nim Castro.
- Lincoln Memorial closed the game by scoring seven of the last eight goals, with the lone Bobcats' goal going to Williams, who clinched her first goal of the season.
- Lees-McRae finished 12 of 19 on clears and committed 26 turnovers in the loss.
FOR THE FOES:
- Ali van der Ziel and Avery van der Ziel combined for eight goals and three assists to pace the Railsplitters.
