Michael Marsans finished with a career-high 25 kills, the most by a Bobcat in a single match since 2015, while
Bradley Peters chipped in 41 assists, five kills, and five digs, to lead the Lees-McRae men's volleyball team to a four-set victory over visiting Edward Waters in the non-conference match to move to 3-0 on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Marsans paced the Bobcats in kills and posted a .417 hitting percentage.
- Joe Angelo and Max Kuntz both chipped in six kills, while Peters finished with a .300 hitting percentage and Kuntz tallied eight digs.
- Steven Nalls added six digs, while Sebastian Heer tallied four kills.
- Both teams traded points in the opening set until the Bobcats used an 8-2 run to take a 22-16 lead and held on for a 25-21 win in the first frame.
- Lees-McRae sprinted to an 13-4 lead in the second stanza and held off a late Tiger rally to claim the second set, 25-15.
- Edward Waters responded with a 25-19 win in set three.
- The Bobcats opened the fourth set with a 15-10 advantage, but Edward Waters responded with a rally of their own to cut the deficit to 22-18.
- Lees-McRae closed the match with three consecutive kills by Marsans to clinch the victory.
- Lees-McRae held a 49-37 edge in kills and a 5-3 advantage in service aces.
FOR THE FOES:
- Evens Edouard finished with a team-high 13 kills to pace the Tigers, while Daniel Montero chipped in eight kills.
