MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Nationally-ranked No. 25 Mount Olive opened the contest by scoring the first 15 goals and held the visiting Bobcats to only four shots-on-goal en route to clinching the 20-2 Conference Carolinas victory this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Nim Castro and Sarah Hepburn both scored for the Bobcats, while Haley Donovan chipped in four draw controls, four ground balls, and two caused turnovers.
- Kalbie Grassett chipped in three draw controls, a ground ball, and two caused turnovers.
- Mount Olive sprinted out of the gates by scoring seven goals in the first 15 minutes of action and extended the lead to 13-0 at halftime.
- After the Trojans pushed the lead to 15-0, Castro scored a free-position goal to put the Bobcats on the board.
- Heburn also tallied a free-position goal to close out the third stanza to close the gap to 16-2 at the final intermission.
- Mount Olive scored all four of the fourth-quarter goals to clinch the conference win.
- Mckenzie Mellen and Emily Davidson combined for 11 saves in net for the Bobcats.
FOR THE FOES:
- Four Trojans finished with a game-high three goals to pace Mount Olive.
- Claire Hagen, Jane Hobbs, and Micayla Starnes combined for two saves in net for the Trojans.
