SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Lees-McRae women's tennis team won five of the six singles match, while the doubles teams of

Rhidaim Yang posted victories, to lead the Bobcats to a 6-1 win over host Converse in the Conference Carolinas match this afternoon to move to 6-3 in conference play this season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The doubles team of Cakirer and Hiramatsu moved to 7-2 in conference play with a 6-2 win in the #2 doubles match, while the duo of Ocampo and Yang also moved to 7-2 in Conference Carolinas action with a 6-0 win in the #3 doubles match.
- Cakirer also won the #2 singles match with a 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) score to claim her sixth conference win, while Anita Ivanova moved to 8-1 in conference action with a 6-2, 6-3 win in the #3 singles match.
- Nursharneem Shamsuddin and Yang both moved to 7-2 in conference play with a 6-1, 6-3 in the #4 singles match and a 6-3, 6-0 win in the #5 singles match respectively.
- Ocampo closed out the match for the Bobcats with a 6-1, 6-0 victory in the #6 singles match to clinch her fifth conference win of the season.
