TIGERVILLE, S.C. – North Greenville held a 10-1 advantage in service aces and a 35-24 edge in kills en route to clinching a three-set victory over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas match this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Michael Marsans, who lead the nation in kills/set this season, finished with a match-high 12 kills to go along with three digs.
- Bradley Peters chipped in 18 assists and five digs, while Max Kuntz added five kills, three digs, and a block assist.
- After an early run by North Greenville to open the match, Lees-McRae battled back and cut the lead to 19-18 on a kill by Marsans.
- The Crusaders responded by scoring six of the final eight points to clinch a 25-20 win in set one.
- North Greenville used a sizable run in the second set to claim a 21-12 lead, but another late rally by the Bobcats cut the lead to 24-17.
- A final kill by the Crusaders clinched a 25-17 win in set one.
- North Greenville closed out the match with a 25-16 win in set three.
- Lees-McRae finished with four total blocks and 21 assists in the loss.
FOR THE FOES:
- Gregory Torres finished with a team-high nine kills, while Emanuel Adames and Michael de la Cruz finished with eight kills each.
