Cycling opens USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships in Augusta, Georgia

RESULTS
 
AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Lees-McRae men's and women's time trial teams both finished sixth overall in their respective competitions, while Ian McDonald and Joe Penley raced in the Individual Time Trials, to pace the Lees-McRae men's and women's cycling team on the first day of the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships in Augusta, Georgia.

FRIDAY'S NOTABLES:

• The Lees-McRae men's time trial team of Liam Flanagan, Josh Foley, Lanier Ash, and Mike Stocker placed sixth overall.
• The women's time trial team of Mady Rails, Maria Döring, Zoe Eckman, and Heidi Martin crossed sixth in their respective competition.
• McDonald finished 18th in the Men's Individual Time Trials, while Penley crossed 31st overall.
