CLEVELAND, Ga. – Lees-McRae women's cycling was back in action this weekend at Truett McConnell in Georgia to take part in their second competition of the mountain bike season.

NOTABLES:
- Lina Dorscht picked up a first-place finish in the Cross Country Women's A race and Maria Döring followed right behind to place second. Madysen Rails rounded out the top five for the Bobcats in the race.
- Abigail Marshall registered a third-place finish in the Cross Country Women's C race on Saturday to continue her first year at Lees-McRae.
- Doring paced the Bobcats in the Dual Slalom Women's A race with a fifth-place result and Rails collected sixth place in Saturday's event.
- Isabelle Judy finished in fourth place for Lees-McRae in the Dual Slalom Women's C Race to end day at Truett McConnell on Saturday.
- On Sunday, Doring continued to lead the Bobcats in the top placement with a second place in the STXC Women's A race as Dorscht followed closely in third place. Rails placed fourth for the Bobcats to take second through fourth on the day.
- Sam Morrison guided the Bobcats to fourth in the STXC Women's B race.
- In the downhill discipline, Doring rounded out her weekend with a second place and Rails picked up a third place in the Downhill Women's A race.
- Judy registered a second-place finish in the Downhill Women's C race to cap the weekend for Lees-McRae.

Lees-McRae women's cycling returns to the course next weekend on Sept. 17 and 18 as the Bobcats will head to Columbia, Kentucky to take part in the third competition of the season hosted by Lindsey Wilson.
