TIGERVILLE, S.C. – In the battle of two undefeated teams in Conference Carolinas play on Wednesday evening, Lees-McRae women's soccer dropped the matchup by a final of 2-0 to North Greenville.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Alexa Todd had a quality chance as she sailed a shot over the top of the crossbar in the first minute of play.
- North Greenville got on the board in the 33rd minute with a goal by Elainee Sprinkle off an assist by Molly Platt.
- NGU doubled its lead in the 63rd minute with a goal by Romee Contreras as the Crusaders improved to a perfect 4-0-0 in conference contests on the night.
- Ivy Cagno had another quality shot that hit the right post in the 71st as the Crusaders came away with the 2-0 victory.
- Haile Desmarais was in the net for the Bobcats as she stopped four shots on target with Todd registering three shots in the match
FOR THE CRUSADERS:
- Contreras and Sprinkle tallied the goals for the Crusaders with freshman goalkeeper Samantha Montgomery collecting the win with zero saves in the contest.
