GREENVILLE, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball senior
Destiny Holley has been named the Conference Carolinas Women's Volleyball Player of the Week after a career-high 25 kills in a four-set victory against King last Tuesday.
Holley, a Middle Hitter from Virginia Beach, Virginia, notched her career high in kills on Tuesday, Oct. 10 with 25 on a .615 hitting percentage. Holley continued her historic week with a .654 hitting percentage at Erskine and tallied 18 kills in a four-set win against the Flying Fleet. She added four total blocks in the decision against the Tornado and two blocks on Saturday afternoon against Erskine.
Holley is currently second on the team in total points with 244 and has 207 total kills in 17 matches with a 3.39 kills per set for the Bobcats. Holley leads the team with a .376 hitting percentage at the middle hitter position and is second among Conference Carolinas athletes. She is also first among conference athletes in blocks per set averaging 1.07 blocks per set.

Lauren Havill, have an 11-6 overall record and 8-2 in Conference Carolinas play with four consecutive victories.
Lees-McRae women's volleyball plays South Atlantic Conference member UVA Wise tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
