CLEVELAND, Ga. – Lees-McRae women's cycling took to the course once again over the weekend as the Bobcats competed at the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference Championships, hosted by Truett McConnell, in Cleveland, Georgia.
THE BASICS
RACE: SECCC Conference Championships
LOCATION: Cleveland, Georgia
NOTABLES:
- Lina Dorscht guided the Bobcats in the Cross Country Women's A race as she placed second individually. Gabriela Ferolla followed in third and Tessa Greep collected fourth in the event. Anabel Miller, ninth, and Zoe Eckman, 10th, rounded out the Bobcats in the top ten.
- Greep collected her second top-ten finish of the day on Saturday in Dual Slalom Women's A event with seventh place individually. Olivia Young took eighth in the race.
- Lees-McRae started out strong on Sunday morning with second place in the team relay with Ferolla and Greep joining Bobcat men Ben Luna and Nicholas Van Rooyen.
- In the Short Track Cross Country discipline, Ferolla led Lees-McRae in third place as Greep and Miller followed in fourth and fifth. Zoe Eckman just missed out a top-ten finish in 11th.
- Greep guided the Bobcats in the Downhill Women's A event with a sixth place. Gabby Vides-Barry followed in seventh and Young took eighth to finish the weekend.

Lees-McRae cycling now makes the short journey to Rock Creek, North Carolina for the USA Cycling Collegiate MTB Nationals. The races kick off on Thursday, Oct. 12.
