Priscilla Mawi registered her first goal of the season and fifth career goal as Lees-McRae women's soccer collected a 1-1 draw at Chowan on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Mawi gave the Bobcats the one-goal advantage after finding the upper right corner of the goal in the 43rd minute. Haley Lowman was credited with the assist on the marker.
- Ezra Carpenter had an opportunity for Lees-McRae with seconds remaining in the first half.
- Chowan evened the match with a goal by Nicole Mejia in the 54th minute of today's contest off an assist from Natasha Bailey.
- Lexi Hanson and Gwen O'Brien had shots on target for the Bobcats in the second half, but the two sides settled for a 1-1 draw.
- Haile Desmarais made one save in goal for Lees-McRae in 90 minutes of action.
- Lees-McRae held the 11-3 shots advantage and 4-2 shots on goal margin.
FOR THE HAWKS:
- Kirsten Peterson collected three saves in the match with one goal allowed.
- Mejia had the two shots on target for Chowan with one finding the back of the net.
