BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer and Converse played to a 0-0 draw on Tuesday night on Tate Field in the Bobcats' regular season home finale.
Maddie Campo made two saves in goal for Lees-McRae with Valkyrie Allie Nepomuceno holding for the clean sheet with four stops.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Campo hauled in her first save of the contest in the 32nd minute off a shot from Valkyrie Jasmine Hernandez. The two sides went into the halftime break deadlocked at zero.
- Taylor Barrineau had the first opportunity for the Bobcats in the second half with a shot on target but Nepomuceno made the save in the 57th minute.
- Campo kept the score even in the 68th minute with her second save of the match.
- The Bobcats had three more shots on goal in the remaining five minutes of the contest with Kalee Wiltshire, Ezra Carpenter, and Barrineau. Lees-McRae played a person down with a little of three minutes left in the contest after Gwen O'Brien was sent off in the 87th minute.
- Lees-McRae held the margin on shots, 7-2, and shots on goal, 4-2, but were unable to find the back of the net in 90 minutes of play.
FOR THE VALKYRIES:
- Raegan Cash and Hernandez each had a shot on goal for Converse.

Lees-McRae women's soccer heads to Franklin Springs, Georgia on Saturday, October 28 to close their regular season with a matchup against Emmanuel. The kickoff is slated for a 4:30 p.m. start.
