Dorscht Opens Cyclocross Season with Victory for Women's Cycling

BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's cycling opened their Cyclocross Season on Saturday morning in Banner Elk as the Bobcats hosted the Collegiate CX Showdown. Lina Dorscht earned the win in the CX Women's A race today.

NOTABLES:

• Dorscht led the Bobcats to an individual victory in the Women's A CX race and Tessa Greep followed in third for Lees-McRae.
• Avery Wortendyke (6th), Anabel Miller (7th), and Sam Morrison (11th) rounded out the Bobcats in the season opener.

UP NEXT:
The Bobcats head to Asheville, North Carolina next Saturday to compete in their second CX event of the season at Warren Wilson.
