BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball earned the three-set sweep over Barton on Friday night on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
Patrycja Rykala led the Bobcats with 13 kills and a hitting percentage of .458 in the contest.
Destiny Holley joined her in double-digit kills with 11 and three total blocks.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae women's volleyball took the early set lead at 14-8 after a five-point run with two kills from Sydney Stigler and double block from Rebecca Ryan and Stigler. The Bobcats earned the opening set at 25-14 after rattling off seven consecutive points.
- The Bobcats continued their momentum into set two with a 25-21 set win after holding Barton to .000 hitting percentage in the set. Lees-McRae had a hitting percentage of .225.
- Lees-McRae earned the sweep in the third with a dominant performance after holding the Bulldogs to a negative hitting percentage. The Bobcats capped off the league victory with a double block from Ryan and Rykala at 25-15 in front of their home crowd.
- Madison Goins dished out 33 assists for Lees-McRae and added five digs in Friday's victory.
FOR THE BULLDOGS
- Allison Gambill produced five kills and 12 digs for Barton in the loss. Kate Lawrence tallied four kills, two digs, and one block in the match.
