Pati Vedia Sanchez knocked off Davidson's Franny Shea in three sets on Sunday afternoon as Lees-McRae women's tennis dropped today's match by a final of 6-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Vedia Sanchez and Rhidaim Yang narrowly picked up a win at the No. 2 doubles position to start the day at Davidson, but the Wildcats earned the doubles point with the sweep.
- Yang forced a decisive third set at No. 3 singles, but fell by a score of 5-7, 6-2, 2-6.
- Vedia Sanchez earned the first set win at the No. 4 singles flight at 6-4 and claimed the match with a third-set tiebreaker over Davidson's Shea.
