BANNER ELK, N.C. – In snowy conditions on Tate Field, Lees-McRae women's lacrosse fell to No. 25 Mount Olive on Tuesday afternoon, 23-4.
Shannan Korovich scored two goals for the Bobcats and
Haley Donovan and
Genesis Lutsky each contributed one for Lees-McRae.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- UMO tallied the first 10 goals of the contest with Lutsky finding the back of the net to stop the scoring run at 10-1 with 13:58 remaining in the second quarter. Mount Olive earned their first Conference Carolinas victory of the season with the 23-4 decision.
- Korovich added two ground balls and two caused turnovers in addition to a team-high two goals for the Bobcats.
- Donovan recorded six draw controls for Lees-McRae and Korovich registered four on the afternoon. Mckenzie Mellen made the start in goal for the Bobcats and contributed four ground ball pickups.
FOR THE TROJANS:
- Bria Hamilton paced Mount Olive with five goals and one assist on the afternoon and Ali Davis followed with four goals.
- Lena DeFilippo recorded a hat trick to go along with four points.
