Nils Schulze and women's cycling sophomore
Lina Dorscht have been named Bobcats of the Week in the first full week of September.
A Frankfurt, Germany native, Schulze scored the game-winning goal for the Bobcats in the 61st minute as Lees-McRae defeated Mount Olive 1-0 in their Conference Carolinas opener on Saturday afternoon.Schulze has played in all four matches to start the season for the Bobcats and has collected two shots on goal in addition to his goal on Saturday.
Dorscht, a sophomore from Scheblitz, Germany, joined Schulze this week after securing two victories over the weekend at Auburn's Chewacla Mountain Bike Challenge. Dorscht took victories in the Cross Country Women's A race and in the team relay at Auburn. Dorscht also picked up the XC Women's A race at Piedmont University on Sept. 2.
