Women's Cycling Picks Up Four Victories at The Piedmont University MTB Kickoff

DEMOREST, Ga. – Lees-McRae women's cycling headed to Piedmont University to compete over the weekend and started the mountain bike season with four victories. Lina Dorscht picked up wins in XC Women's A race and Avery Wortendyke secured first place in XC Women's B and STXC Women's B.

 NOTABLES:

• Dorscht claimed victory for the Bobcats on Saturday in XC Women's A race and Gabriela Ferolla followed in second for Lees-McRae. Anabel Miller rounded out the top five for Lees-McRae with a fifth-place finish.
• In Downhill, Tessa Greep collected third for the Bobcats and Gabby Vides-Barry place seventh.
• Ferolla earned second place in the STXC Women's A race on Sunday with Dorscht taking third in the race.
• In the team relay, the Bobcats took the top two spots with Anabel Miller and Phillip Naude joining Tessa Greep for first place. Josh Foley and Lauren Moon joined Dorscht to take second in the relay on Sunday.
• Wortendyke made an impressive debut for the Bobcats with two individual victories in STXC and XC over the weekend.
