WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Lees-McRae men's and women's track & field teams were back in action on Friday and Saturday at the Camel City Invitational in Winston-Salem.
Campbell Dille secured another school record with her performance in the 3,000 Meters on Saturday.

MEN'S NOTABLES:
- Christian Bargaineer collected a time of 8.50 seconds in the 60 Meter Hurdles to begin Friday for the Bobcats and placed 10th in the event.
- JD Green finished the Men's 400 Meters in a time of 52.69 seconds and took 15th in the race.
- Jakob Gerlach led the Bobcats in the 800 Meters with a time of 2:03.75 and was followed by Ben Gribbins (2:06.16), and Hunter Sizemore (2:31.96).
- Max Geckler crossed the finish line with a time of 9:00.39 in the 3,000 Meters and Brennen Pierce was the second Bobcat to finish with a time of 9:04.52. Rien Freeman completed the distance in a time of 9:12.63 and Josh Brett stopped the clock at 9:23.24.
- In the field events, Orrin Elmer had a mark of 6.50 meters, which placed him 13th in the event. Michael Keen took 13th in the Men's Shot Put with a throw of 13.19 meters and Joshua Ehresman tallied 14th place with a throw of 13.18m. Khan Cline rounded out the Bobcats with a mark of 12.08 meters.
- Keen also led Lees-McRae throwers in the Men's Weight Throw with a toss of 12.32 meters. Andrew Belcher (11.26m) and Cline (8.78m) joined Keen in the event.
WOMEN'S NOTABLES:
- Dille knocked off eight seconds for the new school record in the Women's 3,000 Meters with a time of 10:40.17. Deanna Betzer, who broke the record in 2022, finished the race with a time of 10:49.85.
- Landri Martinka paced Lees-McRae in the 200 Meters with a time of 27.30 as Eshone Cofield-Jackson (28.15), Keagan Osika (28.30), and Sandryne Camire (28.50) followed in the race.
- Maddie Quinn collected a time of 5:28.15 in the Women's One Mile for the Bobcats and Lora Dillon took sixth in the Women's Long Jump with a mark of 5.35 meters.
- Morgan Gray tallied a mark of 8.69 meters in the Women's Shot Put and Devon Davis recorded a throw of 8.52m.
