MISENHEIMER, N.C. –
Addy Geiss buried a goal in the back of the net in the 34th minute as Lees-McRae women's soccer returned with a 1-0 victory on Thursday afternoon on the campus of Pfeiffer University.
Chiara Coppin tallied the shutout with three saves in the Conference Carolinas victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Ivy Cagno had the first opportunity on goal for the Bobcats in the 15th minute, but Converse goalkeeper Gabriella Gudeman made the first of four saves on the afternoon.
- Gwen O'Brien had a quality strike in the 25th minute, but she was called offsides before the goal counted. Geiss registered a goal in the 34th minute off a pass from Averee Andrews.
- Brooke Allen and Abbey Brosnihan had one shot on goal each in the first half for Lees-McRae as the Bobcats led 1-0 in Misenheimer.
- Kylie Gutierrez had a shot in the 60th minute of today's contest for the Bobcats. Lees-McRae held off the late pressure from Converse as the Bobcats extended its win streak to win and haven't lost a match since Sept. 11.
- C. Coppin pitched her fifth shutout of the season for Lees-McRae and fourth consecutive match with no goals allowed.
FOR THE VALKYRIES:
- Hannah Liebig paced Converse with two shots on goal and Paige Damuth recorded one shot on target.
