MOCKSVILLE, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer remains unbeaten in Conference Carolinas play after a 1-1 draw with "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup" foe King on Wednesday evening.
Brooke Allen collected her first goal of the season in tonight's match.

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (5-2-2/4-0-2), King (1-6-2/1-3-2)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae got on the board first in the seventh minute after Allen found the back of the net. The Bobcats continued their pressure with a shot from Lexi Hanson in the 41st minute, but King's goalkeeper Olivia Seston kept the score at 1-0 with a save.
- King found the back of the net in the 75th minute after a shot from Gretchen Grambow. The Tornado continued the momentum with a shot from Mackenzie Winters, but Bobcat Chiara Coppin collected the save in the 77th minute.
- Lees-McRae and King settled for a 1-1 draw on Wednesday evening in a neutral site match in Davie County Stadium.
- Kylie Gutierrez joined Allen and Hanson with a shot on goal for the Bobcats. C. Coppin made three stops in net for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE TORNADO:
- Grambow collected her first goal of the season and Seston made two stops on the evening.
