BRISTOL, TENN. – King rallied for a 2-2 draw against Lees-McRae men's soccer in the second matchup of the season. The Tornado and Bobcats recorded 1/2 point each towards the 2024-25 standings of the "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup".

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Gray Smith gave the Bobcats the one-goal advantage off a corner kick in the 34th minute of the contest. Lees-McRae took the 1-0 lead into the halftime break.
- King knotted the score at one goal with a goal from Ricky Sexton in the 48th minute. Jonas Bartelt answered quickly in the 50th minute as the Bobcats regained the goal advantage.
- Fletcher Dyson tallied a shot on goal in the 58th minute, but King's goalkeeper Gauthier Lumale kept score at 2-1.
- The Tornado battled back and scored in the final three minutes of today's contest as Kirk Rahill tallied a goal in the 87th minute.
FOR THE TORNADO:
- Rahill and Sexton registered the goals on the day for King. Renan Caruso and Leonardo Mercondes each added an assist to their season totals.
