Clara Duarte and
Destiny Holley tallied season-high kills, but Lees-McRae womens' volleyball fell to Chowan in four sets on Saturday afternoon.

FINAL SCORE: Chowan def. Lees-McRae, 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-23, 25-18)
LOCATION: Hawks Athletic Center – Murfreesboro, North Carolina
RECORDS: Chowan (4-15/2-10), Lees-McRae (9-8/1-5)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Holley registered 18 kills on an efficient .536 hitting percentage for the Bobcats and Duarte followed with 14 kills on a .314 hitting percentage.
- Lees-McRae evened the match at one set with a 25-23 set victory in the second set. Chowan regained the set advantage after earning the third set at 25-23 off a kill from Alyssa Thompson.
- The Hawks recorded the match victory with a 25-18 win in the fourth set for their second win in Conference Carolinas play this season.
- Sydney Stigler had a season-high 19 digs in four sets for the Bobcats to go along with seven kills. Ella Young distributed 25 assists in the match and Addyson Morgan had 18 in the contest.
FOR THE HAWKS:
- Anna Holcombe and Alyssa Thompson had a team-high 10 kills apiece in today's win. Holcombe recorded a double-double with 10 kills, 24 digs and added six service aces in the win.
