Sydney Stigler recorded her eighth game of the season with double-digit kills, but Lees-McRae women's volleyball fell in straight sets to Converse in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats held a 18-14 advantage in the first set, but Converse rallied for a 25-23 set victory in the opening set.
- The Valkyries used set victories of 25-18 and 25-17 for the three-set sweep on their home court. Converse had .260 hitting percentage and held the Bobcats to .184 in three sets.
- Stigler had a match-high 13 kills on 35 attempts for the Bobcats and added nine digs in the contest. Destiny Holley had nine kills on a .389 hitting percentage. Patrycja Rykala tallied five kills and Clara Duarte contributed four kills.
- Addyson Morgan distributed 32 assists and recorded three service aces. Kaley Mabry had 11 digs in three sets played for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE VALKYRIES:
- Noemia Chiacchio led Converse with 12 kills and both Megan Carpenter and Tori Barr chipped in seven kills apiece. Alysha Arroyo recorded 20 assists and Jayden Johnson followed with 13 on the night.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae women's volleyball plays Erskine on Friday night at 7 p.m. in Charlotte on the campus of Charlotte Country Day School. The Bobcats will recognize five seniors prior to the contest.
