BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer earned at least a share of the Conference Carolinas Northwest Division title this afternoon with a 1-0 victory over North Greenville.
Ivy Cagno tallied her fourth goal of the season for the Bobcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sarah Jones had the first shot on goal for Lees-McRae in the fifth minute of the contest, but NGU's goalkeeper Haleigh Holland made the first of three saves on the day.
- Chiara Coppin matched Holland with a save in the 32nd minute and recorded another stop of the Trailblazers in the 39th minute of the match. The two teams entered the halftime break deadlocked at 0-0.
- Gwen O'Brien registered a shot on goal six minutes into the second half, but Holland kept the game scoreless.
- Cagno finally gave the Bobcats the one-goal advantage in the 74th minute off a wonderful pass from Kat Stiles.
- Ezra Carpenter almost made the match 2-0 in favor of the Bobcats, but Holland made the save.
- Lees-McRae held off North Greenville in the final 15 minutes of today's game to earn at least a share of the divisional title.
- C. Coppin earned her ninth shutout of the season and added three saves in today's fixture.
FOR THE TRAILBLAZERS:
- Aubrey Kramer paced NGU with two shots on goal and Valerie Hernandez chipped in the other shot on target for the Trailblazers.
