CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball junior Middle Hitter
Clara Duarte recorded her sixth match with 10 or more kills on the year, but the Bobcats fell to Conference Carolinas member Francis Marion in three sets on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- FMU earned the three-set sweep with set wins of 25-15, 25-22, and 25-21. Lees-McRae had its best hitting percentage of the match in the second set at .226, but the Patriots tallied a .346 percentage in the set and .274 for the contest.
- Duarte collected 10 kills on an efficient .368 hitting percentage. Destiny Holley followed with seven kills and six total blocks. Sydney Stigler and Nina Vallesi chipped in four kills apiece.
- Addyson Morgan had 26 assists over three sets and Stigler recorded a team-high six digs.
FOR THE PATRIOTS:
- Chaney Barth and Kara Walker paced the Patriots with a combined 21 kills. Walker had 11 kills and seven digs.
- Mia Mendoza had a match-high 33 assists and Katie Floyd contributed 10 digs at the libero position.
