SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's basketball dropped a 63-52 contest to Conference Carolinas Northwest Division opponent, Converse, on Saturday afternoon.
Emily Barr and
Leah Barringer had double-digit scoring in the game.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Converse had the 13-4 advantage with 4:37 left in the first quarter and led by nine at the end of the first. The Bobcats cut the deficit to eight points at the halftime break to 31-23.
- The Valkyries moved their lead to 14 points with 1:03 left in the third and led by 11 after 30 minutes of play. Converse earned the 63-52 win on its home court.
- Barr led the Bobcats 12 points in 24 minutes of action and added six rebounds and one assist. Barringer followed with 10 points and five boards.
- Nadiya Hairston had seven points and Thailand Smith collected six points in 11 minutes.
FOR THE VALKYRIES:
- Elisa Solé Sanchez recorded a game-high 15 points for Converse and Jordan Brown followed with 14 points and eight rebounds. Alisa Davenport rounded out the Valkyries in double-digit scoring with 13 points.
