Max Borisov and
Andrew Kunaka picked up straight-set victories at No. 1 and 2 singles, but Lees-McRae men's tennis fell to non-conference opponent Illinois Springfield, 5-2, on Tuesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Borisov and Cole Gibson started the day with a 7-5 win at No. 1 doubles for the Bobcats. Illinois Springfield earned the doubles point after a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles and a 7-6 (5) decision at No. 2 doubles.
- Borisov dispatched his opponent in straight sets at 6-2, 6-2 on the No. 1 court and Kunaka followed with a 6-3, 6-3 performance.
- Ezequiel Arce fell in three sets after earning the first set at 7-5. The Prairie Stars collected the dual victory with straight-set wins at No. 4, 5, and 6 singles.
