BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball was back in action on Tuesday evening with a non-conference match with Tusculum. The Bobcats fell in three sets to the Pioneers and
M.J. Doyle led the Bobcats with six kills in the contest.

FINAL SCORE: Tusculum def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-17, 25-18, 25-19)

RECORDS: Tusculum (6-16/1-3), Lees-McRae (1-20/0-8)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae was held to -.029 hitting percentage in the three sets, while Tusculum had a .350 hitting percentage with 40 total kills and 12 errors.
- Doyle had six kills on 19 total attempts to lead Lees-McRae on the evening and Austin Beaird followed with five kills and a team-high eight digs. Luke Fincham recorded four kills on the night and Vincent Pradarelli had three kills on 11 swings.
- Merritt Crowe distributed 18 assists in three sets and Ben Ratliff-Becher had four digs in the match.
FOR THE PIONEERS:
- Deklan Wingo tallied a match-high nine kills on a .286 hitting percentage and Colby Landry followed with seven kills on the offensive end. Jaden Bramhall and Adam Svendsen collected six kills each in the three sets.
- Tristan Blake dished out 25 assists in the contest and Thiago Da Silva and eight assists in the third set.
