BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball fell in three sets to Erskine in Conference Carolinas play on Saturday afternoon.
Ben Fincham led the Bobcats with nine kills and
M.J. Doyle followed with eight kills on the day.

FINAL SCORE: Erskine def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-16, 25-20, 25-20)
LOCATION: McNair & Debi Tornow Court – Banner Elk, North Carolina
RECORDS: Erskine (11-8/7-3), Lees-McRae (1-22/0-10)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Erskine had a .253 hitting percentage to sweep Lees-McRae on Saturday with the Flying Fleet collecting 35 kills on 75 total attempts.
- B. Fincham had nine kills on a .333 hitting percentage to lead the Bobcats with five digs and three blocks. Doyle followed with eight kills and three digs. Sebastian Heer had five digs and four blocks on the day.
- Abdirahman Ahmed had 23 assists in the three assists to go along with two service aces and three blocks.
FOR THE FLYING FLEET:
- Pablo Zamar had a match-high 12 kills on a .318 hitting percentage to lead the Flying Fleet. Edgerrin Austin had nine kills and Francisco Pomar distributed 33 assists in the three sets. Austin and Mikey Widmyer had nine digs apiece in the contest.
