WILSON, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's lacrosse faced Barton on Wednesday afternoon and the Bulldogs took the 23-2 Conference Carolinas victory on the day.
Nim Castro and
Irelynd Manning had the goals for the Bobcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barton scored the first ten goals of the game before Castro got the Bobcats on the board with 32 seconds left in the first quarter.
- The Bulldogs recorded five more goals to start the second and Manning registered the second goal for Lees-McRae with 1:36 left in the first half. Barton took the 16-2 lead into the halftime break.
- Barton secured the 23-2 win with seven more goals in the second half.
- Castro and Shannan Korovich collected two draw controls each and Mckenzie Mellen had two caused turnovers and two ground balls.
FOR THE BULLDOGS:
- Kloe Martin paced Barton on the day with seven goals and added two draw controls and one caused turnover. Tamia Marshall had four goals in the contest and both Sydney Quinn and Avery Woodcook tallied three goals in the win.
