Nim Castro and
Shannan Korovich recorded goals for Lees-McRae on the afternoon, but Emmanuel defeated the Bobcats, 24-2, in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emmanuel recorded the first seven goals of the game before Castro got the Bobcats on the board with 13:39 left in the second quarter.
FOR THE LIONS:
- Paige Murphy guided Emmanuel in the contest with seven goals and one assist. Meghan Jennings had five goals and Ashley Mercker tallied a hat trick in the win.
- Korovich scored her lone goal of the day with 1:04 remaining in the half as Emmanuel went into halftime with the 13-2 advantage.
- The Lions recorded 11 more goals in the second half for the 24-2 win on Wednesday.
- Mckenzie Mellen added an assist in the contest and both Castro and Korovich recorded four draw controls in the game.
- Mellen and Hailey Smith collected three caused turnovers each and Castro led the Bobcats with three ground balls.
