BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer fell to Tusculum on Wednesday evening, 1-0, on Tate Field. The Pioneers scored in the 12th minute and held the Bobcats off the scoreboard.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Addison Rishling got the Pioneers on the board with a goal in the 12th minute off an assist from Sydney Grant.
- Lexi Hanson followed Rishling's goal with a shot on target but Tusculum's Angel Chase collected five saves in the match. Kylie Gutierrez and Haley Lowman also had shots on goal in the first half, but could not find the back of the net.
- Ivy Cagno had the final opportunity on goal for the Bobcats in the second half, but Tusculum held the Bobcats scoreless for the 1-0 victory.
- Chiara Coppin made three saves in the match and three Lees-McRae student-athletes played the full 90 minutes.
FOR THE PIONEERS:
- Rishling had one shot on goal and one goal added to her season totals. Chase earned the clean sheet with five saves in 90 minutes of play.
