BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball continued its non-conference slate with Concord this evening on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court. The Bobcats earned the three-set sweep over the Mountain Lions and
Rebecca Ryan paced Lees-McRae with 11 kills on a .409 hitting percentage.

FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. Concord, 3-0 (25-22, 25-15, 25-20)

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (7-1/0-0), Concord (1-8/0-0)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats built an early 7-4 lead in the first with two service aces from Addyson Morgan. Lees-McRae pushed its lead to 21-16 after a 3-0 scoring run and picked up the set advantage on a kill from Ryan at 25-22.
- Lees-McRae used three four-point scoring runs in the second set for the commanding 25-15 set victory. Clara Duarte capped the set with a kill.
- Concord jumped out to an early 8-4 lead in the third set, but Lees-McRae reset and earned the set at 25-20. The Bobcats seized the match with three consecutive points and a kill from Ryan to seal the match.
- Lees-McRae registered a season-high .330 hitting percentage on the night with eight service aces and five total blocks on the night.
- Ryan had a team-high 11 kills to go along with three blocks and .409 hitting percentage. Duarte followed with nine kills on .409 hitting percentage and Sydney Stigler had eight kills, two service aces, and four digs.
- Morgan distributed 21 assists in three sets played and added four service aces in the contest. Ella Young had 13 assists and three digs in the match.
- Nina Vallesi contributed seven kills and a match-high 14 digs for the Bobcats. Emma Summerfield joined Vallesi in double-digit digs with 12.
FOR THE MOUNTAIN LIONS:
- Meg Williams collected a match-high 12 kills for Concord and Allie Davis chipped in 10 digs in three sets.
