BLUEFIELD, W.Va. –
Addy Geiss led Lees-McRae women's soccer with two goals in her debut with the Bobcats today at Bluefield State. Lees-McRae picked up the 4-0 win over the Big Blue at the East River Soccer Complex.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lexi Hanson got the Bobcats on the board in the eighth minute with an unassisted goal and Haley Lowman followed two minutes later with a goal via a pass from Averee Andrews.
- Lees-McRae made the score 3-0 with Geiss' first career goal in the 41st minute. Priscilla Mawi was credited with the primary assist.
- Geiss tallied the final goal of the contest in the 70th minute and Sarah Jones recorded the assist for the Bobcats.
- The Bobcats held the advantage in shots, 23-2, shots on goal, 11-2, and corner kicks, 14-1, in their season opener.
- Chiara Coppin made two saves in goal for Lees-McRae. Abbey Brosnihan and Kat Stiles joined C. Coppin with 90 minutes played.
FOR THE BIG BLUE:
- Kaycee Coty collected seven stops in goal for Bluefield State. Rachel Major had the two shots on goal for the Big Blue in the season opener.
