Lincoln Scofield had a match-high 12 kills for the Bobcats, but Lees-McRae men's volleyball fell to Quincy in three sets on Monday afternoon.

FINAL SCORE: Quincy def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-16)

RECORDS: Quincy (2-0), Lees-McRae (0-2)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Quincy earned the first set at 25-15 after notching a .381 hitting percentage and 12 kills in the opening set.
- The Bobcats battled in the second set and held the 12-10 advantage in the set. The Hawks tied the set at 17-17 and tallied a 5-0 scoring run for the 21-17 advantage. Quincy earned the set at 25-20.
- The Hawks earned the match with a 25-16 set victory and collected their second victory of the season.
- Scofield led the Bobcats with 12 kills on a .194 hitting percentage and added one block and two digs in three sets played. Austin Beaird followed with eight kills and Ben Fincham had five kills for Lees-McRae.
- Thiago Da Silva distributed 22 assists in three sets and Isaac LaFunor had three digs in the contest.
FOR THE HAWKS:
- Aleksandar Sosa led Quincy with nine kills on a .615 hitting percentage and recorded six digs. Ljubisa Novakovic and AJ Goedheer followed with five kills each.
- Dylan Feely collected 21 assists in two sets and Armaan Dosanjh registered seven assists in the final set.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae heads to Hoosier State for three matches starting on Wednesday at 7 p.m. against LIU on the campus of Purdue Fort Wayne.
