FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Lees-McRae men's volleyball concluded its three-match road trip to Indiana on Saturday evening with a 3-0 loss to Purdue Fort Wayne.
Austin Beaird led the Bobcats with seven kills.

FINAL SCORE: Purdue Fort Wayne def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-17, 25-11, 25-16)

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae led 3-0 to start the first set with a service ace from Thiago Da Silva, a solo block from Ben Fincham, and a kill from Beaird. Purdue Fort Wayne rallied in the end of the set for the 25-17 set win.
- The Mastodons earned the final two sets by scores of 25-11 and 25-16. Purdue Fort Wayne had a .453 hitting percentage to the Bobcats' .000.
- Beaird had seven kills on a .133 hitting percentage and added three digs. Fincham tallied three kills and three digs. Jadon Ciriacks collected three kills in three sets played.
- Da Silva distributed 13 assists in three sets and Ben Ratliff-Becher had nine digs for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE MASTODONS:
- Axel Melendez Watts recorded a match-high 14 kills for the Mastodons. Andrej Polomac registered 21 assists in the match for Purdue Fort Wayne.
