Kirsten Watt combined for 25 points, but Lees-McRae women's basketball fell to Emmanuel, 73-56, in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emmanuel jumped out to a 19-9 lead off a layup from Maddie Futch. Aleysha Hill hit a free throw to cut the lead to 19-10 at the end of the first quarter.
- The Lions built their lead to 19 points on free throws from Abby Crawford and earned the victory by a final of 73-56 on Saturday afternoon.
- Watt had a team-high 14 points and two rebounds for the Bobcats. Tillery followed with 11 points in 29 minutes on the day. Nadiya Hairston scored nine points and added five rebounds in the game.
FOR THE LIONS:
- Futch had a game-high 25 points on 11-14 shooting and Abby Crawford followed with 18 points for Emmanuel. Naomi Roberts rounded out the Lions in double figures with 16 points.
