SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball returned to Conference Carolinas play on Friday evening and fell to divisional opponent Converse in three sets in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Converse took the opening set by a score of 25-18 and earned the three-set sweep with set victories at 25-13 and 25-20 in the second and third sets.
- Lees-McRae was held to .040 hitting percentage and 19 kills in the match.
- Clara Duarte had five kills and both Rebecca Ryan and Addi Stables collected four kills apiece. Lauren Newcomer registered 17 digs and Iza Rosin tallied 17 assists.
