Sydney Stigler had double-digit kills for the Bobcats, but the Lees-McRae women's volleyball dropped a tough five-set match to Francis Marion on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Francis Marion took the opening sets by scores of 25-23 and 25-21. Lees-McRae battled back for the third set win at 26-24 and forced a fifth set with the 25-21 in the fourth set.
- The Patriots used a 3-0 scoring run for the 8-5 lead in the final set and won 15-9.
- Stigler led the Bobcats with 18 kills on a .264 hitting percentage and seven digs. Duarte had 11 kills and two blocks. Ryan had 10 kills on a .320 hitting percentage. Iza Rosin collected 57 assists in five sets and Lauren Newcomer tallied 23 digs in the contest.
