MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's soccer ended its seven-match unbeaten streak on Saturday after falling to Chowan, 1-0, in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Chowan took the one-goal lead after scoring on corner kick in the 37th minute. Matty Doyle tallied the goal off assists from Bradley Binns and Harry Baker.
- Jonas Bartelt had a shot sail high in the 78th minute as Chowan earned the 1-0 win over Lees-McRae on Saturday.
- Sean Green made five saves, but allowed one goal in 90 minutes.
- Karim Gegg had both shots on goal for the Bobcats.
- Chowan's Lucas Kibrya recorded the clean sheet with two saves on the day.
